Communion and Midway

So I haven't blogged in a while and my one reader is longing for something new! So I thought I would first write about Cameryns first communion. Cameryn had her beautiful wedding type dress on and the Richards invited us over for brunch. It was really nice! I was hoping to actually go to the communion but didn't make it in time. You see I married a man who is late for everything and is rubbing off on me that way! Just kidding! I actually wasn't feeling well that morning so I slept in. Anyway, it was a nice day with family, and the Richards are like family! They are such generous people and Denise is so cute always making us laugh when she tells any story in her cute, Texas accent! Speaking of their generosity, they let us stay in their hotel room in Midway memorial weekend! It was really fun and very relaxing, I totally could have stayed longer! So the pictures are from the brunch and Midway. Dave and I invited Jaime and Nick to come stay there in Midway one night and we had fun!

An awesome experience

So I got the incredible opportunity to work on a unique project. An acquaintance of mine decided he wanted to help out a homeless family buy letting them live for free in a fully furnished home for at least 6 months with a car to drive until they can get on their feet. When they get a home of their own they get to take all the furniture with them and the car! I got to go in and "stage" the home bringing in art and accessories and furniture placement. The neat thing about this story is the family who ended up getting to live there. They are a family of 5, mom, dad, 2 boys and a girl from a country called Buton. I had no idea this country existed, but it is a strict Buddhist country and this family is christian. They were "illegally" celebrating Christmas and got caught. The moms father was beaten within inches of his life. They all ended up in refugee camps and the moms parents are still there. Somehow this family made it to Utah and were just about to be homeless when this opportunity came about. So I went to the home the day the family "came home" and it was probably one of the most spiritual experiences I've had ever! I almost started bawling un controllable when the mom did during her news interview. All I can say is that this family must be so special and they helped my realize how grateful I am for the incredibly rich life that I live. So if your feeling sorry for yourself think of things this family has had to go through and remember that you have so much including the freedom to practice whatever religion you believe in! I only hope that one day I will be as strong and have such faith to be willing to risk everything for my beliefs.

My Purse Story

Oh my gosh! I totally forgot a way cute story I should share. While on my honeymoon in Hawaii, Jaime and I found these way cute purses. They were knock off Dooney and Bourke purses. Well anyone who knows me knows I LOVE purses. I have a lot, and I felt the need to add to my collection with this cute knock off. So Dave bought it for me and about a month after I had been home from Hawaii the strap broke. Again, for those that know me, I fill my purses with everything so it's not uncommon for my strap to brake, but I was still very sad over it and the fact that I had only use it for a month. Well, Valentines day rolls around, and my sweet, thoughtfull husband went out and bought me a real Dooney and Bourke to replace the one I broke! Is that the sweetest thing ever?! So I had to post a picture of my newest beloved purse, and share the sweet story of how blessed I am to have the best husband! It's so nice to know that I am so blessed! My past bad relationships have only made me appreciate how incredibly wonderful my marriage is! I feel so lucky, and I have a great purse too!

is winter over yet?

I am DONE with winter!!! I miss the sun and no snow on my car...when will it be over?? I thought I'd post a few pics of fun times, in nice warm weather!
To completly change the subject, my gym membership expired so I've been doing workouts at home on fit tv. So there is this show called Gilads bodys and they work out in Hawaii. I had done the workouts before we went to Hawaii but when I got home and started watching the show again I realized they do it in the exact spot Dave and I got married! Funny huh?! I think it's pretty cool and it helps me somewhat enjoy the work out!

Birthdays

So I am such a dummy! It was my dads 60th birthday and I didn't even take any pictures! ARRGH!!! But besides his family party on sunday, where he served the cake he bought himself, we did have a very nice dinner at Faustinas with Daves parents and Jaime and Nick the night before. Of course anytime you get to eat at Fausti's is very nice! Speaking of b-days I am so excited because I now have 2 sisters that are prego! Dave and I are talking about getting pregnant this year too, so I am trying to have faith that I can actually handle a pregnancy and then children... it pretty much scares me to death! So as my mom always says to me, "Beth, what is the opposite of fear?" I now truly understand that the answer is Faith. Something I have lacked greatly for a long time in many areas of my life, so I am trying really hard to have faith.

100 things to be grateful for everyday!

Oh my good heavens!I forgot I had a blog for the past month! So I need to apologize to all my readers and fans he he! Or should I just say sorry mom!

So it was another nice Christmas and New Years! We missed Tyson, Kylie and the kids though. Dave and I had to laugh because I got power tools for christmas and he got 2 bling bling watches and a cookbook! But everybody knows I already have plenty of jewelry and Dave of course will love using my tools too! Still a bit funny though!

So my last blog talks about the things I have to be thankful for and I have to say I really am soooo blessed! I have so much and I am so excited about this new year. I really believe it will be a wonderful year for all of us! My new years resolution is to wake up every day and truly feel gratitude in my heart for everything I have, and everything I know I am going to have! I have just decided there is no better way to start your day than to truly feel gratitude through out your whole body! You are bound to have a great day if you start it out right and happy, and grateful!

So Iam going to write down 100 things I am truly grateful for every day and I challenge you to do the same! I wont bore with all 100 but here are a few that I would like to share!
1. My wonderful husband! It took me a long time to find him! 2.The fact that I am a successful realtor and home stager when the odds have been against me in today's market! 3.I am so grateful for my health! 4.I am so grateful for my belief in God and his plan, how comforting! 5.I am so grateful for my mom and the beautiful person she is!6. I am so grateful for my computer, how I love my computer and the many things it does for me!

So start your own list, have fun and know that you too are very blessed!
